GreenBetween compares driving estimates from Apple Maps to help you choose a course with a fair balance of journeys. Open a course to see each player’s drive, along with the longest and average journey.

Check that your starting point is in the right place, then try a wider radius. You also need an internet connection for searches and driving estimates.

Course listings come from Apple Maps. Coverage and categorisation vary, so GreenBetween may not find every course. Search results can also include driving ranges and other golf facilities.

If a course is missing or incorrect, include its name and town when contacting support. Please check availability and visitor access with the course before travelling.

Location permission is requested when you choose Use my current location. To change permission later, open your iPhone’s Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > GreenBetween.

Driving times are estimates from Apple Maps. Traffic, route availability and departure time can change the result. The search radius is measured in a straight line, so a driving route may be longer.

For navigation, open the course details and choose Get directions in Apple Maps.

GreenBetween helps you find and compare courses. It does not manage bookings, green fees or tee-time availability. Use the course website or phone number in its details, where available, to contact the course.

Recent places, player labels and search preferences are stored on your iPhone. There is currently no clear-history button. Deleting GreenBetween through iPhone Settings removes its local app data; offloading the app keeps it.

Your iPhone’s backups may contain app data, and restoring a backup can restore it. Manage those backups in your Apple settings. Read the privacy policy for more detail.

Comparing several courses and starting points can take a moment. Check your internet connection. If the search does not finish, use Cancel search and try again.

If the issue continues, contact support with the town you searched from and a description of the problem. An exact home address is not needed.
